Mizxrouge: I'm currently specializing in post-modernism and post-colonialism, but that's all liable to change depending on which profs I end up doing research with next year. The reason I asked you about Skins in the first place was because you said you lived in Bristol, haha! That's so cool. I'd love to see the real place sometime, omg. My secret dream is to study/teach in Cambridge someday, but that's a whole lot of money I don't have for now. I can't pick a favourite! I loved everybody in the first cast. I like almost everybody in the second cast too, especially Naomi/Emily, but I can't get over how mean Katie is and I find Freddie rather insufferable. You?

Louise: I spent all my teenage years in Canada and my closest friends are here, so it feels more like home than anywhere else. Plus, the socialist health care and the overall liberal stance of everyone is great. I love that it's very multi-cultural and I've seen less discrimination here (racial, sexual, religious, etc.) than anywhere else in the world. How about you, do you like living in Scotland? In my mind it's always so remote, lots of fields and sheep because that's all they ever show in postcards. What's it really like?

Whoa that sounds interesting! Teaching at Cambridge would be amazing!! I went on a trip to Cambridge with my college to have a look around and see the city, it was so beautiful and seemed a really lovely place to live/study. I won't get in though the entrance requirements are really high! Awh I love Naomi and Emily, I was happy when Naomi finally stoppped messing her around. And yeah freddie is a douche. Most of the main main characters annoy me like Cook

wow, Canada sounds like a dream country haha >.< but i understand why you love it ehm i suppose Scotland is quite remote as long as you're not in Glasgow or Edinburgh. While you're here it seems very boring and simple, but as soon as i leave for any length of time i miss it like hell. As in, whenever i go on holiday, i get SO excited when i fly back into Scotland because of how green it is... i'm a country girl at heart. I do like it, but i only appreciate it every now and again... i do want to move though: i'm still picking where (i was set on America but now i'm really intrigued by the rest of Europe) Then again, the Scottish people can be either the nicest (eg. me ;D) or the nastiest people ever so that's its biggest downfall... i think it's worth a visit though. Plus, even though i am totally unpatriotic while i'm here, as soon as i go over the border i am SO Scottish in every way haha I enjoy using my accent to the extreme and i have a huge Scotland flag i take with me: we're very proud people ^^ wow. that's quite a speel, congrats if you read it all *hugs*
