I have only one friend converted.
We're planning to convert another the weekend after the DVD comes out.
8 episodes straight of Trinity plus extra features. Include food, drink, sweets and alcohol and you have a day which is pure win.
Insanity is not a bad thing. Look at Sweeny Todd.
Maybe that's not the best example....

And Trinity, the sweets and the alcohol alone would just make me a sad, sad loner. XD My rl friends never seem to get that into things. Never as into stuff as I am. And Sweeny Todd is an awesome example. lol Though I'm not quite as bloodthirsty. XD PLUS: Just hit 100 posts.

Well I only have a couple of rl friends, and all they want to talk about is kids/babies. And they so are not interested in anything I'm interested in. I sometimes talk to hubby about Trinity, heck he knows I like slash...well he's into femslash/yuri so all's fare and all that

I start talking about something and then... yeah, trail off into uncomfortable silence and change the subject because I know no one gives a shit.

Likewise oddly. I get really excited about things and I revert to about five. Which is kind of weird given the subject matter I'm fangirling over
Sweeny Todd is awesome.
Congrats on the centenery

I remember mentioning once I liked slash to a friend...and they were 'oh I didn't know you were like that', and gave me a funny look. I tend to keep my interests to myself these days. Also the same friend and I were talking about Torchwood, and she said that she started watching it because Jack was fit, and then she found out he was gay...thereby not interested anymore. Which was a WTF moment!!! But on the bright side I don't see them very often

Congrats on the centenery Heh, thanks. And yeah, know what you mean. I don't even bother to go any kind of fangirly on anyone irl anymore. I just may mention something in passing and then regret it. I remember mentioning once I liked slash to a friend...and they were 'oh I didn't know you were like that', and gave me a funny look. I tend to keep my interests to myself these days. Which was a WTF moment!!! But on the bright side I don't see them very often It's a progression. People I talk to usually don't even know what slash is. Or what fanfiction is. I've met people who didn't even know the word fandom... But yeah, I keep it to myself and the internet, mainly. Makes it verly lonely and disheartening sometimes, though. And yeah, tonight guess I'm a bit more on the disheartened side. *is sorry*

Once again likewise, my inner creepy fangirl stays inner (and I don't let my friends see my fanfic ) I don't talk to most of my friends about slash (my ranger pack is different though. We're all utter lunatics and a couple of them are anime fangirls...with all that entails) because I know it would weird most of them out. Plus I have guys as friends and I don't want them airing their pervy fantasies. I guess you could see it as slightly disheartening...or you could look at it that at least we HAVE the internet so we can meet other pervy fangirls and be happy. Not to mention that (unless you're talking to cleverbot) there's a person on the other side of the internet.

Yeah, I still haven't been successful at converting anyone in my COUNTRY (whom I know, anyway) to watching this show. Damned Atlantic gap. At least I can fangirl with all you lovely ladies, so I shall count myself lucky.

I like Yaks.
Dory definately deserves fangirling, especially as I'm convinced he doesn't come from a happy home. He needs love people, and not the carnal kind (although I don't think he'd turn that down)
