Response to PROMPT:
As you can tell I really don't likeManbitch Rupert. Plus we know he has a history of sexually harassing people.
Warnings: Erm, violence and implication of gay sex. Your average.
Ross Bonham was a posessive sort of guy. He wasn't overly domineering nor was he a stalker but what he cared about he held close to his heart. Things like his little sister, his rowing titles and his boyfriend.
They were at one of the Dandelion Club's parties, the club tried to throw a large party each month (for college morale, clearly), and Ross had left to get them both another drink. He and Jonty had been sitting in a rather out of the way seating area so he'd lost sight of his boyfriend while he replenished their drinks.
Coming back to their corner to find some guy all over Jonty caused Ross to drop both the glasses. Only a few people turned to see what was going on - because it was a party where there were drunk people so glasses were dropped rather a lot. Ross could see that Jonty wasn't a willing participant from the way he was struggling, but his assailant was broader, heavier and Jonty had the disadvantage of being only half drunk.
Striding over to whoeverthefuck was assaulting his boyfriend Ross grabbed him by the back of the collar and hauled him off Jonty. Ross didn't even know the guy very well but he thought his name was Rupert. He was so drunk it was incredible that he was still standing but that didn't matter because he could have hurt Jonty.
Ross lashed out once...twice...three times and sent the guy to the floor, unconcious and bleeding profusely from a nose that was obviously broken. Despite that Ross would have gone for him again if Jonty hadn't stopped him, wrapping both arms around Ross from behind and murmuring calming things into his ear.
Sport over the rest of the party turned back to whatever they had been doing or drinking. Dorian, in the process of extracting himself from between two women to see what the hell was going on, didn't bother checking whether Rupert was okay.
"Are you okay?" Ross turned around within Jonty's arms, faces close together
"I'm fine. He was too drunk to do anything other than fumble." Ross frowned at that and Jonty kissed the frown away, unwrapping his arms from Ross and instead taking Ross' hand. He didn't have to say anything, just flashed Ross a look through his eyelashes and tugged on Ross' hand. They were leaving the party.
ROSS PUNCHING THE HELL OUT OF SOMEONE FOR MAKING A PASS AT/FLIRTING WITH JONTY
As you can tell I really don't like
