OMGZ JONTY. OMGZ JONTY BOXING. OMGZ JONTY TALKING.
GENERAL JONTY OMGZ-NESS
Wheeeeee. Ep 6
I'm at the first adverts currently and I'm lost for words. Also Rosalind has a full name. Rosalind Ursuala Beatrice Gaudain.
18 minutes in and I'm flailing happily.

As much as I loved all the Jonty action... DORIAN! *general flailing and squeeing* He likes comics... and really loves his mum (though I'm still not entirely sure what the deal with his dad is, except for being a source of angst we fanfic writers can exploit wonderfully.)

33 mins in. Waaaah JONTY NOOOOOO. Also, I KNEW Dorian would react like that, but still 'For family see Burke's Peerage, I never had much time for friends' is so harsh. I really want to squish him though I'm still not entirely sure what the deal with his dad is, except for being a source of angst we fanfic writers can exploit wonderfully. Dorian is too pretty not to be hurt. Also 35 mins in ARGLEFLURGLE DORIAN *MADSQUISH OF THE HAPPY*. I....THEREARENOWORDSTOEXPRESSHOWMUCHIREALLYWANTTOJUMPYOURIGHTNOW

And indeed, he has way too much potential for angst to come off unscathed. Especially when I'm responsable for the plot line. Muahahah

Well I just finished watching it, and for a second before it finished I was like noooooooo, the bit with Jonty - you'll know the bit I mean, but it all turned out ok. Love Jonty being Lancelot, so does that mean if they ever got Dorian he would be Arthur Gosh there was so much I loved in this ep. Also I think I shall have to capture the images flashes, during the bit with Jonty. Hmmm I thought the guy that played Ross was credited with this ep....didn't actually see him though. Maybe in those flashes ^^

I, unfortunately, am one thin wall away from someone who will kill me if I wake her up from squealing over Trinity. Also Maltravers Magneto moment is <3. JONTY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Love Jonty being Lancelot, so does that mean if they ever got Dorian he would be Arthur I've actually been thought-writing some meta comparing Dorian to Arthur (from the BBC series Merlin). I nearly died laughing the first time they did the Camelot/Avelon thingummy because I'm a Merlin fan too. And absolutely love the Next Week segment. Can't waaaaiiiit. I need to re-watch Dorian's little-boy-lost moment. It's too sweet for anthing other than dying over

But yeah, the Lancelot and stuff references are awesome. I'd not mind if Dorian got a bit more plotline. He's so pretty, he needs more canon. ^^ And I shall also rewatch. And tomorrow, maybe, I can do some caps so I can make more icons.

I can't help but now think of the Dandelion club as the Knights of the Round Table *g* But thinking back on the ep, the bit with Jonty with the electro things, stills reminds me of Clockwork Orange ^^ And they really need to include Dorian more, it's sweet seeing the bits with Charlotte...but I just feel they don't show him enough. Also is it me, but Dorian has no interaction with Jonty since the funeral. Seems a bit odd tbh, within a club you would think Pres and Vice-Pres would talk more often...even with Jonty having a bit of a breakdown. Christ! Even if Dorian went and saw Jonty and told him to pull his bloody socks up (a bit callous) but that would make some sense... Also last night I couldn't help but think Jonty likes being slapped about...well...it looks like he feels he deserves it. Then the old pervie brain couldn't help reminding me about Charlotte saying, Dorian likes to dominant (set aside the little lost-boy looking Dorian) all I could think was D/s situations. Please someone shot me now ^^ Actually I can see it working the other way as well. What with Dorian's daddy issues. Damn! I really need to be shot, drawn and quartered Really looking forward to next week’s ep, the preview looked good

I don't know either, why Jonty and Dorian haven't had much more interaction (except that the writers don't have fangirl minds), but I can can only guess that Jonty has become very reclusive. I mean, he looks like he spends most his time in his room boxing, angry with himself for not being able to save/help Ross. And well, Dorian... probably has his own issues. Definitely has daddy issues. But they definitely should be seen together more. Well, we can only hope in future eps. From what I've gleaned, Dorian's dad is somehow involved with the whole mystery mess, no? So maybe Dorian will get involved a bit more too...

But yes hopefully there will be some interaction between the two of them in future ep's. As you said there's always Dorian father to link them. I wonder who Avalon are sending, maybe it's Dorian's father ^^ Also I'm still curious who the person was in Maltravers office back in Ep 4, who knocked out Jonty. Who is this person??? Will this question ever be answered in future ep's?? It's hard to believe there is only 2 more ep's left now *hopes they make another season* Is it me, but are Cooper's eyebrows getting more and more wild as the series progresses ^^

I still really want to know what their issues are, though from what I've gathered it's partly that Dorian's father is disappointed in Dorian and Dorian might feel like no matter what he does,he's never gonna be good enough and live up to his dad's high expectations. In all that it doesn't help that the whole family seems to set Rosalind apart so much. Uh, yeah. lol I hope we get more canon info, though I don't mind if not, because there's so much I can deduce myself. Though, they have a lot of loose ends to tie up and only two episodes to do so. I'm slightly worried about that.

Is it me, or am I the only one that thinks they've wiped Jonty's mind clean?
I mean, Maltravers did say that if he didn't cooperate, then they would kill him, and so destroying a person's memories and personalities could be interpreted as a form of death?
Yup, I'm watching Joss Whedon's Dollhouse atm.

Actually, while we're talking about Dorian's daddy issues I have one question.
Do you think he has siblings?
Because it's mentioned in Dorian's character bio that he's the eldest son of the Marquis of Ravensby, implying that there's a younger son in there somewhere.
And also Dorian's comment this episode about his mother 'I'm her favourite' (*SQUISH*) which implies that there's more than just Dorian to choose from.
Also, did anyone else like how Trinity is actually advocating NOT using drugs with Angus and Raj. Using humour to show the paranoia drug-use can cause.
While I'm talking about random things THAT PAVILION I WANT IT NOW. PREFERABLY WITH DORIAN IN IT. IT'S BLOODY PRETTY AND HE SET THAT UP FOR HER I CANNOT BELIEVE IT *FLAILING*

I haven't actually introduced myself since I hate introduction posts so hello. I noticed that too - maybe his brother is his dad's favourite hence the 'daddy issues'? It sounds like he has a nice relationship with his mum. I'm hoping she'll be introduced sometime but I doubt it since there's only a couple of episodes left. It would be funny seeing Dorian act like a mummy's boy. Was it just me or did Maltravers seem worried about Charlotte at the end of the episode and in the previews? This was probably my favourite episode so far - lots of Jonty and Dorian angst! Plus, I actually felt really sorry for Rosalind which I never thought would happen.
